Background: GICON stands for Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, a regional government agency that promotes the ICT and content industry in Gwangju, Korea. As part of their talent fostering program, GICON is hosting the CES Tech Preview & Meetup for over 200 attendees during the 2024 CES in Las Vegas.
Challenge: Source the venue, plan the event with F&B, and staff the manpower for a TED-style speaking event for over 200 guests, including various high-level Korean government officials, media, and private guests. Generally, the task would not have been much of a challenge, but this is during one of the busiest times in Las Vegas.
